The “BiblioTandem Language” project is an initiative designed to offer a stable, accessible and structured service aimed at improving language skills through encounters between different cultures.
It represents an informal method for enhancing language fluency through interaction, offering the opportunity to take part in conversation sessions based on reciprocity.
Taking part means seizing the opportunity to:
- Build connections by creating relationships with students of all nationalities in a welcoming environment.
- Grow interculturally through direct exchange with different perspectives and traditions.
- Experience the Library spaces in a new and unconventional way.
- Learn naturally, including idiomatic expressions and everyday language, in a setting free from the pressure of evaluation or grading.
Each meeting lasts 60 minutes, divided equally between two languages, chosen from Italian, English, French, German and Spanish.
The project is open to all Sapienza students.
To participate, simply fill in the application form.
The Library will match students who have indicated compatible languages for exchange and will make available the “Grandi Formati” study room.
